"21st Century Dating" is a piece about the difficulties faced with entering the new aged dating world, given that it has an abundance of catfishes and internet trolls. This piece contains a tinder message conversation between a friend of mine and a catfish. Even with my friend just messaging them saying that catfishing people was not okay, there was an immediate attack from the catfish followed by a plea to "hook up." I used blue and red to show the difference between the catfish and a representative version of my friend. The person in blue is doing typical tasks like grocery shopping, and the person in red is looking directly at the audience showing no emotion. To meet new people, you have to put yourself out there, and you will likely face challenges that can involve catfishes.
